We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-site assignment with an interim ED leadership focus, providing leadership support across a two-site emergency department system in the Laconia area.

Emergency Department RN Job Details

• End Date: 09/26/2026
• Duration: 27 weeks
• Schedule: Mon-Fri day shift and availability to round shifts
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Travel / Interim Assignment

• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $3,030–$3,200
• EMR: Cerner (experience preferred, but not required)

Emergency Department (ED) RN Requirements

• RN Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute care Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Leadership Focus: Prior ED charge/leadership experience strongly preferred; ability to support ED operations across two sites is a plus
• Clinical Skills: Strong hands-on ED skills with the ability to support staff in high-acuity situations
• Certifications (Required): AHA BLS and ACLS
• Certifications (Preferred): TNCC and PALS
• Preferred Background: Experience working in a union environment

Key Responsibilities (Interim ED Leadership Focus)

• Support day-to-day Emergency Department operations, helping ensure safe, efficient care
• Round on multiple shifts to support staff engagement, clinical excellence, and consistent communication
• Provide support for site-specific ED needs across two sites

About the Emergency Department Environment

• Two-site ED support model
• Primary site (Laconia area): 32-bed ED plus a 6-bed locked acute psych area (behavioral health leads psych operations)
• Secondary site: 8-bed ED in a critical access setting; focuses on stabilizing patients and arranging transfer (“stabilize and ship”)
• Trauma: No trauma designation
