Operating Room RN (OR RN) Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of inpatient Operating Room (OR) / perioperative nursing experience
• Trauma: Level 1 trauma experience required (must have trauma OR experience)
• Licensure: RN required
• Certification: BLS required
• Professional Traits: Positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
• Service Competency: Candidates must be competent in at least 5 of the following services: Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric OR.

Perioperative RN Responsibilities (Operating Room)

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room environment
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage as required
