- Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract (travel radiology jobs, travel rad tech)
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Thursday
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days (06:00–16:30 or 06:30–17:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call: Rotating on-call coverage required (approx. 2 weeks/month)
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Charting System: Epic (Epic experience required)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology (neurovascular/neurointerventional experience preferred)
- Valid Virginia radiologic technologist license or compact license (license must be in hand at time of submission)
- Certifications required: ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), BLS, ACLS
- Direct Epic charting and PACS experience required
- Strong proficiency with interventional imaging equipment and a wide range of IR procedures (angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, nephrostomy, TIPS, neurovascular interventions)
- No prior license or background hits (facility requirement)
- Ability to pass respirator fit testing (facility cannot accommodate PAPR)

Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with a broad range of interventional radiology and special procedures (vascular, non-vascular, and neurointerventional procedures)
- Scrub and circulate during procedures, maintaining sterile technique and strict infection control protocols
- Prepare procedure rooms, set up and troubleshoot imaging and procedural equipment, and ensure necessary supplies are available
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, sedation monitoring, and post-procedure care to support positive patient outcomes
- Document procedures accurately and in a timely manner in Epic and communicate clearly with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage and respond promptly to urgent/emergent procedural needs
- Maintain imaging equipment, support inventory management, and contribute to a safe, efficient procedural environment
