Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44195 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry – Seizure Monitoring Unit
• Shifts: Rotating Day/Night 12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:30 & 19:00 – 07:30), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,250–$2,370/week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (travel nursing experience accepted)
• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification required
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday
• One year of recent oncology/chemotherapy administration experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy (training provided if needed)
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
• Educate and support patients and families
• Float to similar units as needed to meet operational needs
