• Shift: 8-hour days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM); some weekend and holiday shifts required as part of department rotation
• Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,190 - $2,360 per week
• Dress Code: Ciel blue tops and black bottoms (scrubs provided)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program — Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist, or equivalent
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — ARRT-registered CT Tech
• Licensed by the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• At least 1 year of experience in CT and general imaging — CT imaging experience required
• Familiarity with Merge-PACS, Cerner/HIS, and RIS systems (PACS and EMR experience preferred)
• Experience with GE, Philips, Carestream, and Siemens radiology equipment preferred
• Flexibility to float between inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients as needed — ability to work in acute care and ED imaging environments

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general imaging exams, including CT scans and X-rays, following established CT protocols and hospital policies; average workload is approximately 100 exams per day
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and compassionate support for patients of all ages
• Operate and maintain radiology and CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality, quality images, and adherence to radiation safety standards
• Accurately document imaging results in the electronic medical record (EMR) and utilize PACS for image storage, retrieval, and communication with radiologists
• Collaborate with radiologists, ED staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to discuss imaging findings and support clinical decision-making
• Participate in department orientation, safety training, and maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Float between various patient care areas as needed (inpatient, outpatient, emergency department) to support hospital radiology operations
• No IV starts or on-call duties required
