Location: Concord, MA (Zip: 01742) — Concord, Massachusetts travel nursing
Setting: On-site Interventional Radiology (IR) department
Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nursing Job)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36-40 hours
Shifts per Week: 4
Shift Duration: 10-hour days (option to work 9-hour shifts)
Start Time: 7:30 AM
Evening Call: 5-hour evening call rotation
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,980 - $2,300 per week

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Ability to participate in evening call rotation
BLS certification (required; AHA preferred)

Responsibilities

Provide skilled peri-procedural nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Perform pre-procedure assessment, patient preparation, and patient education
Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to clinical changes
Collaborate with interventional radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to sterile technique and safety protocols, and support quality improvement initiatives
Participate in scheduled evening call rotation
