• Position: Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist (Travel)
• Location: Miami, FL 33133 — Miami healthcare / Florida cath lab jobs
• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (33 beds)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: March 16, 2026 • End: June 15, 2026)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour days), 40 hours/week
• On-Call: Evenings and weekends required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Credentialed as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist
• Proficiency with cath lab systems and imaging equipment: MacLab, GE, Philips
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
• Strong critical thinking, ability to adapt quickly, work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate patient-centered approach and commitment to infection control standards

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures including interventional coronary, structural heart, and peripheral cases
• Support electrophysiology (EP) studies and device-related procedures as needed
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized cath lab equipment (MacLab, GE, Philips)
• Monitor and document patient status using Meditech and follow hospital documentation best practices
• Provide on-call coverage for evenings and weekends to support emergent cardiac care
• Collaborate with nurses, cardiologists, and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to institutional protocols and infection prevention
