Job Details — Travel Cath Lab Tech (Charleston, SC)
- Assignment Type: Travel (13 weeks)
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina (29425) — Charleston healthcare position
- Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
- Start Date: March 23, 2026
- End Date: June 22, 2026
- Shift: 4 x 10-hour days (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: 1–2 nights/week, one weekend every six weeks, possible holiday call
- Parking: Nights/weekends only; one-time $20 parking pass
Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,740–$1,870

Job Requirements — Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required (Cardiac Cath Lab, PCI experience preferred)
- First-time travelers accepted — travel cath lab tech candidates encouraged to apply
- National certifications required: SCRQSA, ACLS, BLS (AHA only)
- Preferred certifications: CCI with RCIS/RCES; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also accepted
- Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Ability to participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
Primary Responsibilities — Cath Lab / CT / Rad Tech
- Perform a wide variety of Cath Lab procedures including Right & Left Heart Cath diagnostic studies, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD closures, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, peripheral and vascular cases
- Operate CT and radiology imaging equipment as needed to support interventional cardiology and hybrid OR cases
- Support procedures in 5 Cath Lab rooms and a Hybrid OR; maintain sterile technique and adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—cardiologists, nurses, anesthesiology, and support staff—in a fast-paced, high-acuity teaching environment
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in EPIC electronic health record
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and emergency response as required

- Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC charting and clinical documentation
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills in high-acuity settings
