- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) — Night Shift RN
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800-$1890/week
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Scrub Color: Any color

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required — New Mexico registration or agency-assisted licensing recommended for travel nurses
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) RN experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- PALS certification preferred (preferred qualification for Med/Surg RNs)
- Ability to float to other units; on-call is only for census flex prior to the start of the scheduled shift if census is low (not a regular rotation)
- Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers — ensure your staffing agency is registered with the state, as the fingerprint process can take several weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a general medical-surgical inpatient unit as a Med/Surg RN and travel nurse
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, changes, and progress using MedHost EMR
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide safe patient handoffs and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Float to other units; on-call is only for census flex prior to the start of the scheduled shift if census is low (not a regular rotation)
