- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (13-week assignment)
- Setting: Operating Room (OR) – Perioperative / Surgical Nursing
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 27, 2026
- Shift: 10-hour days (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri; 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call: Required; participate in on-call rotation
- EMR: Epic
Required Qualifications – OR RN / Travel Nurse
- Active Florida RN license or compact RN license (must be verifiable through Nursys at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, with demonstrated perioperative skills
- Strong orthopedic surgical experience required (orthopedic OR nurse experience preferred)
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Degree from an accredited nursing program or 5 years of relevant perioperative experience
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred (travel nurse OR assignments)
- Ability to float to other ORs/sister campuses within the health system as needed
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility at time of hire
- All requested time-off must be disclosed at submission
Key Responsibilities – Perioperative / Surgical Nursing
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in orthopedic procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure safe, efficient patient care and optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation and float to other operating rooms within the health system as required
- Adhere to facility policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols
