Summary

Join a dynamic outpatient cardiac diagnostic clinic in Camp Hill, PA as a Travel RN / Outpatient Registered Nurse specializing in cardiac imaging and stress testing. This role is ideal for Registered Nurses with cardiac experience who are comfortable performing independent cardiac stress and nuclear stress tests, telemetry interpretation, and emergency cardiac interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or Compact RN license (acceptable)
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Pennsylvania fingerprints/background check required
• Minimum 1 year of recent cardiac nursing experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting
• Proven ability to perform cardiac stress tests independently, including nuclear stress testing
• Experience with telemetry interpretation and immediate response to cardiac events
• Competency in cardioversion/defibrillation and emergent cardiac care
• Clinical experience managing coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, valve disease, and cardiomyopathy
• Preferred: experience titrating cardiac medications (Amiodarone, Cardizem)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor cardiac stress tests, including nuclear stress tests, independently and safely
• Continuously interpret telemetry and provide timely interventions for arrhythmias and cardiac events
• Assist with and perform cardioversion and external defibrillation as clinically indicated
• Monitor, titrate, and document cardiac medication administration per protocols (e.g., Amiodarone, Cardizem)
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with cardiologists, sonographers, techs, and multidisciplinary outpatient care teams to ensure coordinated cardiac care
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered outpatient clinic environment focused on high-quality cardiac diagnostics
