- End Date: July 4, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (1900–0730)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Scrub Color: Any color, professional
- EMR: EPIC (experience preferred)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130-$2250/week
Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active RN license (state of Washington or compact RN license as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / critical care nursing experience
- At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment completed (travel ICU nurse experience)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Clinical proficiency with chest tubes, wound VACs, dressing changes, and femoral arterial sheath monitoring
- Preferred: experience with arterial lines, Impella, and/or intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing for diverse ICU patients including CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib with RVR, diabetes-related complications, CVA overflow, post-cardiac cath care, and post-operative surgical patients (vascular, abdominal, GI).
- Administer blood products and manage continuous infusions and drips (diltiazem, amiodarone, furosemide/Lasix, nitroglycerin, heparin).
- Perform and monitor advanced respiratory and circulatory support: BiPAP, chest tube care, arterial sheath monitoring, and wound care.
- Provide cardiac monitoring, titration of vasoactive meds, and care for patients with mechanical circulatory support when applicable.
- Float as needed to Telemetry, Med-Surg, and Neurology-Medical units to support hospital staffing needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, RT, PT/OT, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and adhere to hospital policies and critical care standards.
