• Unit: Davenport 7 – Medical Cardiology (Cardiac telemetry unit)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment (13 weeks)
• Start Date: April 19, 2026
• End Date: July 18, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Nights; may rotate Days/Eves/Nights)
• Patient Ratio: Days: 1:4/5; Evenings/Nights: 1:5/6
• Charting System: EPIC EMR (experience preferred)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience (cardiac telemetry nursing experience preferred)
• Current, active Massachusetts RN license (compact license not accepted unless MA eligible)
• AHA BLS certification required
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms
• Experience managing cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Comfortable floating to similar units (cardiology, medical telemetry, progressive care) as needed
• Completion of required health screenings and background checks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use, GU, and GI conditions
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms, escalating concerns per protocol
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips and manage high-flow oxygen therapy safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, cardiology, respiratory therapy) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC EMR
• Float to other units as required to support patient care needs and maintain smooth operations
• Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
