• Setting: Emergency Department (38 beds, Trauma Level III Certified, Stroke & STEMI Receiving Center)
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770 per week
• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• EMR: Cerner experience required (Cerner EMR)

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Active RN license in current state (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) or Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required
• Experience with Cerner EMR system required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications per facility policy (PALS/NRP as applicable)
• Must be willing to float as needed across ED areas
• Charge Nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department using the Nursing Process
• Perform as an ED nurse/ER RN delivering trauma-informed care and urgent patient interventions
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Maintain and update clinical competencies through ongoing education and training (continuing education for travel nurses encouraged)
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks appropriately based on staff education and experience
• Ensure compliance with state Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and ED protocols
