Travel ER Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Tucson, AZ. 13-week travel assignment at a Trauma Level III, Stroke & STEMI Receiving Emergency Department. Join our Emergency Department nursing team and advance your travel nursing career in Tucson, Arizona.

- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Registered Nurse
- Setting: Emergency Department (38 beds, Trauma Level III Certified, Stroke & STEMI Receiving Center)
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770 per week
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
- EMR: Cerner experience required (Cerner EMR)
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Active RN license in current state (compact license accepted where applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) or Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required
- Experience with Cerner EMR system required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications per facility policy (PALS/NRP as applicable)
- Must be willing to float as needed across ED areas
- Charge Nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department using the Nursing Process
- Perform as an ED nurse/ER RN delivering trauma-informed care and urgent patient interventions
- Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
- Maintain and update clinical competencies through ongoing education and training (continuing education for travel nurses encouraged)
- Delegate and supervise patient care tasks appropriately based on staff education and experience
- Ensure compliance with state Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and ED protocols
