• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370–$2,500/week
• Shift: 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM (with one rotating day 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• SGNA or CBSPD certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years recent Endoscopy RN or GI RN experience (travel nursing experience a plus)
• Experience with GI technician endoscopy workflow, Olympus scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing (endoscope reprocessing)
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
• Strong skills in sedation monitoring, MAC and conscious sedation cases, and perioperative nursing principles

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Endoscopy unit performing GI procedures and scope-based diagnostics
• Assist with 60–70 procedures daily, including MAC and conscious sedation cases
• Set up, handle, and reprocess Olympus scopes and related endoscopy equipment following infection control standards
• Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure in holding and recovery (PACU) areas
• Maintain clinician-to-patient ratios of 1:1 in procedure rooms and 1:2–3 in PACU
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately in EPIC EMR
• Participate in rotating shifts as needed (department open 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Be available for on-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
