- Location: Plymouth, MA 02360 (Plymouth healthcare / Massachusetts nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 8 weeks (ICU travel assignment)
- Setting: 14-bed Critical Care Center (Intensive Care Unit)
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, rotating weekends and holidays
- Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed biweekly (72 hours every two weeks)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2470-$2600/week
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse - ICU RN)
- Start Date: March 23, 2026
- End Date: May 16, 2026
Job Requirements (ICU Registered Nurse / Critical Care Nurse)
- Current Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (intensive care unit, critical care nurse)
- Demonstrated competency in core critical care skills: ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition/management, and post-STEMI care
- Evidence of relevant continuing education; CCRN preferred
- Must pass Tele/ECG and medication competency testing prior to acceptance
- No local travelers: must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months and in good standing to be considered
Responsibilities (Intensive Care Unit RN / Critical Care)
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical critical care needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including 24-hour intensivist coverage
- Manage ventilators and advanced airway needs for critically ill patients
- Titrate vasoactive and sedation medications and perform continuous hemodynamic monitoring
- Recognize and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and provide post-STEMI care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow critical care protocols
- Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
