Join a dynamic pediatric care team in beautiful Burlington, Vermont! We are seeking an experienced Pediatric RN for a travel nursing assignment on the Baird 5 unit. Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910-$2010
Assignment Length: 16-32 weeks (starting 4/6/2026, ending 10/5/2026)
Shift: 12-hour nights (travel nurse shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Employment Type: Travel — Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing assignment
Unit: Baird 5 (Pediatrics)
Floating: Required to NICU, PICU, and Mother/Baby units as needed
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available: 4/20/2026)

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in pediatrics — Pediatric RN experience preferred
Prior travel nursing experience required
Current AHA BLS, AHA PALS, and NRP certifications
EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required) — EPIC documentation and charting experience preferred
CPN and APHON certifications preferred
Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible)
All-season or snow tires required November–April

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, family-centered, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients on Baird 5
Float to NICU, PICU, and Mother/Baby units as needed based on census and acuity
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement pediatric patient care plans
Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC EMR
Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development for travel nurses
Work every other weekend as scheduled
Maintain compliance with all facility, licensing, and regulatory requirements
