Join a dynamic pediatric care team in beautiful Burlington, Vermont! We are seeking an experienced Pediatric RN for a travel nursing assignment on the Baird 5 unit. - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910-$2010
- Assignment Length: 16-32 weeks (starting 4/6/2026, ending 10/5/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (travel nurse shift)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel — Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing assignment
- Unit: Baird 5 (Pediatrics)
- Floating: Required to NICU, PICU, and Mother/Baby units as needed
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available: 4/20/2026)
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in pediatrics — Pediatric RN experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS, AHA PALS, and NRP certifications
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required) — EPIC documentation and charting experience preferred
- CPN and APHON certifications preferred
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible)
- All-season or snow tires required November–April
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, family-centered, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients on Baird 5
- Float to NICU, PICU, and Mother/Baby units as needed based on census and acuity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement pediatric patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC EMR
- Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development for travel nurses
- Work every other weekend as scheduled
- Maintain compliance with all facility, licensing, and regulatory requirements
