Job Details

Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel Nurse
Location: Bentonville, AR (Zip: 72712) — Northwest Arkansas, Arkansas nursing jobs
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nurse contract)
Shift: 12-hour days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), plus call
Hours per Week: 36
Employment Type: Travel / On-site
Pay Rate: $82/hour
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840–$1940

Key Qualifications

Active RN license (state of Arkansas or compact RN license preferred)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery / OB nursing experience
Experience in postpartum, antepartum, and newborn care
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in fast-paced L&D settings

Responsibilities (Labor & Delivery / Maternity Nurse)

Provide comprehensive obstetric and newborn care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
Monitor and assess mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and follow evidence-based protocols
Assist physicians, midwives, and healthcare team members during deliveries and procedures
Support and educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and perinatal standards
