• Minimum 1 year Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience required

• Arterial line experience preferred
• Bipap / Airvo respiratory support experience preferred
• Active RN license: Missouri or Compact RN license accepted
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Ability to float to lesser units as needed to support hospital staffing

PCU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to PCU patients during night shifts
• Monitor and manage patients requiring high-acuity drips, arterial lines, and advanced respiratory support
• Perform assessments, administer medications, titrate IV drips, and respond to clinical changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to facility protocols and quality standards
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training for travel nurse assignments
• Support unit staffing by floating to lesser acuity units as requested
