Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) opportunity in Tucson, AZ — 13-week nights at a Level III Trauma Center with Cerner EMR experience required.

- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
- Unit: Emergency Department (ED) — 38 beds
- Role: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Emergency Department Nurse
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: Within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
- EMR: Cerner (experience required)
- Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center
- Facility: Stroke & STEMI receiving hospital
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1770 per week
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or multi-state compact license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing experience
- Proven experience with Cerner EMR (required)
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
- Charge Nurse experience preferred (additional compensation may be available)
- NIH Stroke certification recommended
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department as an ER RN / Emergency Department Nurse
- Apply the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in patient care planning and triage
- Maintain and develop clinical competencies through continuing education relevant to emergency nursing
- Prioritize and delegate patient care based on staff education, experience, and patient acuity
- Direct and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care in a fast-paced ED environment
- Participate in trauma, stroke, and STEMI protocols and coordinated emergency responses
