Job Details
- Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel Nurse
- Location: Boston, MA 02114 — Boston travel nursing, Massachusetts RN roles
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 3, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 50/50 split between day and night shifts; 12-hour shifts; every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Employment Type: Travel, On-site
- Openings: 3 ICU RN travel positions
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2130 per week
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts (Massachusetts RN)
- ICU certification required (examples: CCRN or equivalent critical care certification)
- 2+ years of recent acute care inpatient or current ICU experience required
- 1+ year of travel nursing experience required (travel RN experience)
- Ability to work both day and night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday
- Completion of required onboarding health and professional documentation (MMR, TB test, health statement, background checks, references, skills checklist, education verification, etc.)
ICU Responsibilities (Critical Care Nurse Duties)
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and implement appropriate critical care interventions
- Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage ventilators and advanced monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with a large multidisciplinary team to manage complex medical, surgical, transplant, and trauma cases
- Document patient care, treatment plans, and progress accurately and efficiently in the medical record
- Participate in unit initiatives and quality improvement efforts to maintain a safe environment and achieve excellent patient outcomes
