- Unit: Orthopedic Surgery (joint replacement, fracture care, post-operative orthopedics)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800-$1890
Orthopedic RN Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of recent orthopedic nursing experience (post-operative care, joint replacement, fracture care preferred)
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical skills in orthopedic surgery, pain management, mobility aids, and rehabilitation planning
- Excellent communication, patient education, and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced surgical setting
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, including total hip and knee replacements and fracture repairs
- Monitor and assess patient recovery, pain control, neurovascular status, and mobility
- Implement post-operative care plans and collaborate with surgeons, physical therapists, and case managers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on post-op care, rehabilitation exercises, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhere to hospital protocols, and participate in safety and quality initiatives
