• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800-$1890

Orthopedic RN Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent orthopedic nursing experience (post-operative care, joint replacement, fracture care preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic surgery, pain management, mobility aids, and rehabilitation planning
• Excellent communication, patient education, and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced surgical setting

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, including total hip and knee replacements and fracture repairs
• Monitor and assess patient recovery, pain control, neurovascular status, and mobility
• Implement post-operative care plans and collaborate with surgeons, physical therapists, and case managers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on post-op care, rehabilitation exercises, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhere to hospital protocols, and participate in safety and quality initiatives
