Key Details

• Location: Orange Park, FL 32073 (30 minutes from Downtown Jacksonville)
• Position: Travel CT Technologist / CT Tech – Hospital CT Department (Main Building)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, no weekends
• Hours per Week: 36
• Call: Minimal call required (voluntary)
• Equipment: GE and Siemens CT scanners (experience with GE preferred)
• Documentation / PACS: Meditech and GE Centricity
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,520 - $1,640 per week

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification (Certified CT Technologist)
• Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist License
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Trauma and stroke imaging experience required (ER/acute care support)
• BLS certification
• Strong patient-focused communication using AIDET

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GE CT scanners and Siemens CT systems
• TerraRecon or reformat/reconstruction experience on any platform
• Previous overnight CT tech experience and fast-paced hospital workflow exposure

Responsibilities

• Perform standard CT scans and advanced CT imaging protocols (non-invasive on this shift)
• Provide timely stroke and trauma imaging support to the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with a tenured, supportive radiology team (typically 2 techs overnight)
• Float to main department as needed and assist with department workflow
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in Meditech and image management in GE Centricity
• Adhere to hospital and unit guidelines, including dress code and professional standards
• Deliver high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience
