• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 19:30) — day shift nursing job
• Unit: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) – 3 East/West
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience (permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required prior to travel)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand (Registered Nurse credentials required)
• Active AHA BLS & ACLS certifications
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or Charge RN in Med/Surg Tele required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start

Responsibilities / Key Duties

• Provide high-quality patient care as a Med/Surg Telemetry nurse (telemetry RN)
• Monitor and assess patients with telemetry needs, including ECG rhythm recognition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nursing staff, therapists) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately and timely document patient information, assessments, and interventions
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training, including safeMedicate assessments and telemetry best practices
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and travel nursing requirements
