Job Details - Travel Nursing Wound Care

• Assignment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse opportunity)
• Location: Silver Spring, MD 20910 — Maryland nursing job
• Setting: Enterostomal Therapy Unit (wound and stoma care)
• Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional weekends)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130

Requirements - Wound Care RN Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Wound Care Certification (WCC) required
• At least 1 year of recent wound care nursing experience; Enterostomal Therapy experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Ability to work occasional weekends as needed
• Compliance with onboarding health and background requirements

Responsibilities - Wound Care Nurse Duties

• Provide comprehensive wound care and management to patients in the Enterostomal Therapy Unit
• Perform wound assessment, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on wound care best practices, stoma care, prevention, and self-management
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, protocols, and staff education
