- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 (competitive travel nurse pay)
- Location: Boston, MA 02114 — Boston healthcare / Massachusetts nursing jobs
- Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) — ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse role
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Employment Type: Travel — Travel Nurse / Travel RN opportunity
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (MA)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (MICU preferred)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work straight nights and every third weekend, including scheduled holidays
- Completion of required onboarding health and professional documentation (MMR, TB Test, Health Statement, Criminal Background Check, CORI, resume, references, skills checklist, education verification, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary critical care settings
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) as an ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, administer medications, and perform complex nursing interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and family members
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, infection control, and patient safety standards
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring and ventilator management is a plus
