Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,390 – $2,560
• Location: Seattle, WA 98122 (Seattle, King County)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 4x10-hour (Sunday–Wednesday, 17:00 – 05:30)
• Setting: Hospital – CT Scanning Unit (acute care, hospital-based CT)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel CT technologist, travel CT tech job)
• Call: Required (on-call duties)
• First-time travelers accepted: Ideal for travel CT techs with at least 2 years of experience

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in acute care or hospital settings
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications (Computed Tomography certification required)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners, PACS, and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Skills in IV starts, peripheral IV access, aspirations, biopsies, and safe contrast administration
• Competency in CT protocols including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head, brain perfusion, cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine, and vascular CTA

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Independently operate CT scanning equipment during overnight shifts and provide high-quality CT imaging for adult and geriatric patients
• Perform advanced imaging procedures including CT angiography (CTA) and brain perfusion studies
• Prepare, verify, and administer contrast media following hospital safety protocols
• Assist with image acquisition, processing, and transmission to PACS; maintain accurate patient records in EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient care and optimal image quality
• Respond to on-call and emergent imaging requests as required
• Adhere to hospital policies, radiation safety protocols, and infection control standards
