Travel Nurse Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990

- Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) — LTAC nurse / rehabilitation nurse role
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12 Hour Days

Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience (experience in LTAC, rehabilitation, or acute care nursing preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
LTAC Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, supporting high-quality long-term acute care
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation goals
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from admission to promote continuity of care
- Communicate changes in patient status to care providers for continuity and patient safety
- Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel to maintain unit efficiency
- Promote patient and employee safety, adhering to hospital policies and long-term acute care procedures
- Contribute positively to team building and unit efficiency in a busy LTAC environment
- Assume charge responsibility as requested after orientation
- Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study to advance clinical skills
