• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990

• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) — LTAC nurse / rehabilitation nurse role
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Days

Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience (experience in LTAC, rehabilitation, or acute care nursing preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)

LTAC Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, supporting high-quality long-term acute care
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation goals
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from admission to promote continuity of care
• Communicate changes in patient status to care providers for continuity and patient safety
• Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel to maintain unit efficiency
• Promote patient and employee safety, adhering to hospital policies and long-term acute care procedures
• Contribute positively to team building and unit efficiency in a busy LTAC environment
• Assume charge responsibility as requested after orientation
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study to advance clinical skills
