- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 – $1,840
- Location: Asheville, NC (28801) — Asheville nursing jobs / Western North Carolina travel nursing
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:45 – 07:15) — ICU RN night shift
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Critical Care RN
- Number of Positions: 2
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (must meet North Carolina state requirements)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience as a Critical Care RN
- Ability and willingness to work night shifts
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and patient assessment abilities
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Current BLS required; ACLS/CCRN certifications are a plus
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
- Manage ventilated and complex patients, including ventilator care and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including titration of vasoactive drips as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families during critical care situations
