Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010 (Competitive travel nurse pay)
  • Location: York, Maine (03909) — York, ME critical care and nursing jobs
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
  • Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am – 7:30 pm), every other weekend; may require variable shifts
  • On-Site Position — ICU clinical setting, direct patient care
  • No On-Call Required

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience as an ICU RN or critical care nurse
  • Active Maine RN license (compact license holders, please verify state eligibility)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Influenza vaccination (mandated by the State of Maine)
  • Ability to work variable shifts as needed and adapt to a fast-paced critical care environment

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to adult ICU patients
  • Monitor patient conditions, interpret assessments, and respond to emergencies promptly
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-support interventions as prescribed
  • Perform hemodynamic and ventilator monitoring and document clinical findings accurately
  • Provide compassionate patient- and family-centered care during critical illness
