• Shift: 12 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (North Carolina or RN compact state) — required for travel nursing jobs in NC
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) / ER nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Professionalism, adaptability, and ability to perform in a fast-paced emergency care environment

Responsibilities (ER Nursing Duties)

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Perform triage, comprehensive assessments, and timely interventions for a wide range of medical and trauma emergencies
• Manage patient stabilization, monitor vital signs, and deliver urgent treatments per facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient encounters and treatments accurately and efficiently in the medical record
• Participate in hospital orientation, adhere to facility policies, and maintain a safe, clean work environment
