Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) travel assignment in Fort Myers, FL — 13-week travel nursing opportunity for experienced Endoscopy/GI nurses with Epic and advanced endoscopy exposure.

Job Details

• Role: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (Endoscopy RN) / Gastroenterology (GI) Nurse — Travel Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,700 - $1,790 (competitive weekly pay for travel nurses)
• Location: Fort Myers, FL 33912 (Fort Myers healthcare, Lee County, Florida travel nursing)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), with call required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel — travel nurse position
• Floating: Required; may float to sister campuses

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient endoscopy RN experience; prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Advanced endoscopy experience preferred (EMR, ESD, RFA, CRYO, POEM, ERCP)
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required — strong documentation skills in Epic
• Degree accreditation must be on profile or 5 years of relevant experience
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call (holidays, weekends, weekdays)
• Radius rule: Must live at least 50 miles from permanent address
• All requested time off must be submitted at application

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the endoscopy unit as an Endoscopy RN / GI nurse
• Assist and scrub for advanced endoscopic procedures (ERCP, ESD, EMR, RFA, CRYO, POEM)
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesiology, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other units and sister campuses as needed; adapt to fast-paced hospital workflows
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly per facility policy
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Promote and contribute to a positive unit culture and patient-centered care
