• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Location: Salem, Massachusetts (Zip: 01970) — Salem, MA travel nursing job, North Shore / Greater Boston area
• Facility: Cardiac Cath Lab (2 rooms) — PCI, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), device implants, ablations
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: May 3, 2026 – End: August 1, 2026)
• Shift: 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• On-Call: 7 on-call nights/month (includes one weekend and four additional nights)
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel nursing job

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Cath Lab / EP Lab RN experience, including interventional cardiac and scrub experience
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Experience caring for adult patient population in interventional settings
• Familiarity with EPIC (Cupid) electronic medical record (EMR)
• Ability and willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• Strong clinical assessment, sterile technique, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab as a Cath Lab RN, assisting with PCI, Impella support, IABP, device implants, and electrophysiology (EP) ablations
• Scrub and circulate during interventional procedures and device implantations
• Monitor, assess, and manage adult patients throughout procedures and during post-procedure recovery
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, EP physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC (Cupid) EMR
• Adhere to infection control, sterile processing, and Cath Lab safety protocols
• Participate in the scheduled on-call rotation as required for this travel nursing assignment
