• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Location: Louisville, KY 40202 (Downtown Louisville)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 29, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
• Shift: Night Shift – 6:30pm to 7:00am, Saturday to Monday (3x12 hour shifts per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience; Operating Room (perioperative) experience preferred
• Active Kentucky RN license at time of submission (compact license holders: confirm state eligibility)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• English proficiency (read, write, speak)
• CNOR certification preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure (pre-, intra-, and post-operative)
• Initiate, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans as indicated
• Provide perioperative nursing care including sterile technique, instrumentation support, and assistance with complex surgical procedures
• Collaborate with patients, families, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions and surgical care
• Deliver patient and family education throughout the surgical care continuum
• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and maintain safe staffing practices
• Mentor, precept, and support new staff to foster teamwork and professional development
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards and Practice Governance
