Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio (44195) — Cleveland nursing jobs / Ohio travel nursing
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 17, 2026
• End Date: July 17, 2026
• Shift: Rotating Day/Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00am–7:30pm / 7:00pm–7:30am)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site, Full-Time

Med/Surg Tele RN Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry (acute care / cardiac telemetry) experience
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Compact State
• Current BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Must be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital
• Monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for early detection of arrhythmias
• Administer medications and treatments safely following hospital protocols and policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case management, PT/OT, pharmacy) for coordinated care planning
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) clearly and timely
• Participate in unit orientation, competency validation, and ongoing education to maintain clinical skills
• Work rotating shifts and provide holiday coverage as scheduled (at least every other holiday)
