Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab (Cath Lab RN, Cardiac Cath Lab RN)
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or eligible/willing to obtain licensure (PA Compact considerations apply)
• Current BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS certification required
• Dysrhythmia course completion required
• RCIS certification preferred (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Ability to meet 30-minute response time for call shifts; dependable travel nurse candidate with strong time management

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Assist physicians and the interventional team during diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures
• Continuously monitor patient status, recognize dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Prepare the Cath Lab room, equipment, and sterile field; ensure supplies and imaging equipment are available and functioning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including interventional cardiologists, radiology, and recovery staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation as required and maintain a 30-minute response capability
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to facility protocols and quality standards
