CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1520 - $1640
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-Hour Days (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Setting: Hospital – CT / Cat Scan Unit (trauma-capable)

CT Tech Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Computed Tomography (CT) Tech
• Experience operating GE Optima CT scanners
• Trauma imaging experience required (emergency/trauma CT)
• Strong patient care skills, professionalism, and flexibility for hospital workflows
• CT Certification (ARRT (CT) preferred)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Current ARRT (CT) certification
• Valid Kansas state license or ability to obtain licensure quickly
• Compliance with facility uniform policy: black scrubs required

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform all CT examinations using GE Optima equipment and protocols for high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Provide exceptional patient care and support in a trauma and emergency setting
• Use McKesson PACS for image routing and Meditech for documentation and charting
• Collaborate closely with a team of 1–2 technologists, unit secretaries, and multidisciplinary clinical staff
• Maintain strict safety protocols, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance
• Adapt to floating policies and help meet patient experience and throughput goals
