Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240 - $2,400 (competitive travel mammography pay)
• Location: Newton Lower Falls, MA 02462 — Boston area, Middlesex County, Massachusetts
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 3, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (option to expand to 40 hours/week)
• Shift Schedule: Mon/Wed/Thu 8:00am–5:30pm; Fri 7:00am–4:30pm; optional Sat (4 hours)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (varied schedule)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technician, Mammography Technologist, or Radiologic Technologist with mammography experience
• Valid RTRM and ARRT certification for mammography
• Current Massachusetts state licensure (Radiologic Technologist / Mammography licensure)
• Ability to complete onboarding requirements, including health screenings and background checks
• Strong communication, patient-centered care, and teamwork skills in a clinical environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography imaging according to facility protocols and RTRM/ARRT standards
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during breast imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and quality control logs
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to deliver coordinated patient care
• Participate in department onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training for mammography services
