• Location: Lebanon, PA (17042) — Lebanon County, Pennsylvania nursing job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend as needed
• Holiday Coverage: Expected to work 1 of 2 major holidays (July 4th or Memorial Day) and surrounding days
• Facility: Tobacco and fragrance free

Summary / Quick Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience
• Required certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC electronic health record experience required (EPIC RN)
• Experience in telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, and community hospital settings preferred

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (no license hits accepted)
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience
• ACLS & BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Prior community hospital or inpatient Med/Surg telemetry experience preferred

Responsibilities – Medical-Surgical RN (Night Shift)

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med/Surg unit (35 beds, daily census ~30)
• Manage patient assignments typically 5–6 patients per shift; provide safe, evidence-based nursing care
• Float across Med/Surg floors and possibly to rehab units as needed
• Care for a broad range of diagnoses: CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, ortho, COPD, sepsis, end-of-life care, and occasional stable post-open heart surgery patients
• Perform and manage specialized procedures and skills: chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, telemetry monitoring, phlebotomy, IV/central/PICC line care, blood product administration, wound care/wound vac, CBI, feeding tube care, pre/post hemodialysis support, IV insulin protocols
• Participate in rapid response and code teams when needed
• Utilize virtual support technologies including Artisight (Virtual Nurses) and Virtual Sitters
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and case management
• Maintain compliance with isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and facility policies
