Job Details – Travel Nurse / Med-Surg Telemetry RN

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,940
• Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry RN | Travel Nurse | Night Shift RN
• Location: Lebanon, PA 17042 (Central Pennsylvania; Pennsylvania nursing jobs)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift; 3 x 12-hour shifts/week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend as needed
• Facility: Tobacco and fragrance-free

Nursing Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience (clinical telemetry, acute care)
• Active RN license (no license hits accepted)
• ACLS & BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required (EPIC / electronic health record experience)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract

Responsibilities – Med/Surg Tele RN (Night Shift)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit (cardiac telemetry monitoring, patient assessment, acute care management)
• Manage patient ratios of 5–6 per shift while maintaining safe, efficient clinical care
• Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, COPD, sepsis, general surgery, ortho, and end-of-life care
• Perform specialized procedures and post-procedure care: post-cardiac angiogram monitoring, phlebotomy, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP support, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, IV insulin protocols, and wound care
• Float to other Med/Surg floors and potentially rehab units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Use technology including Artisight (Virtual Nurses) and Virtual Sitters to support patient monitoring
• Expected to work one of two major holidays (July 4th or Memorial Day) and surrounding days as scheduled
