Travel CT/Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab in Chicago, IL. 12-week travel contract at a top downtown medical center. Job Details — Travel CT Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab) — Chicago, IL
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 - $2,790
- Location: Chicago, IL 60611 (downtown Chicago healthcare jobs)
- Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) — CT / Radiology
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
- Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:30)
- On Call: Monday–Thursday (5:30pm–7:00am); Weekend call Friday 5:30pm–Monday 7:00am
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Orientation: 8 hours
Qualifications & Certifications — CT / Cath Lab Tech
- Minimum 1 year direct Cardiac Cath Lab experience required (Cath Lab tech, scrub experience)
- Illinois Radiology license required (must be in hand; no pending or emergency licenses accepted)
- BSN required for Northwestern Memorial Hospital assignments (if applicable)
- ARRT certification required; BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
- Experience scrubbing and assisting in Cath Lab procedures
- Ability to respond to STEMI calls and be ready in lab within 30 minutes
- Must provide license, completed skills checklist, and two references (one from Supervisor/Manager/Charge RN within the last year)
- COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical exemptions only for COVID-19)
- Compliance with Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry requirements if applicable
Key Responsibilities — CT / Radiologic Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab
- Perform advanced CT imaging and radiologic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab (radiologic technologist duties)
- Scrub and assist in cath lab interventions including ASD closures, TAVR, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
- Interpret basic dysrhythmias, support monitoring during procedures, and assist during laser-assisted or specialized interventions
- Respond promptly to STEMI pages and fulfill on-call responsibilities per schedule
- Collaborate with interprofessional clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac cath environment
- Maintain accurate documentation, imaging records, and compliance with facility protocols and safety standards
- Float between facilities within the health system if requested, demonstrating flexibility as a travel healthcare professional
