• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,120 - $3,280
• Location: Falls Church, VA 22042 (Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. area)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026) — Travel nursing assignment
• Shift: 8-hour days (6:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a SCRUB and CIRCULATING nurse in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Active RN license (state license required; compact license accepted)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Epic access required
• Ability to multitask, apply critical thinking, and work in a fast-paced OR environment
• Excellent communication skills and strong team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries including coronary artery bypass (primary and redo), aortic aneurysm repairs, AVR & MVR (primary and redo), TAVR, ECMO, and VAD procedures
• Provide high-quality perioperative patient care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
• Participate in ongoing research protocols and departmental professional activities
• Work rotating weekends and holidays as required (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
• Take on-call shifts (approximately 6–10 shifts in 6 weeks, including ~1 weekend per month)
• Float within scope as needed to support surgical coverage
