• Setting: Acute Care Inpatient Oncology Unit (Inpatient Oncology RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse (Oncology RN)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours weekly) — Night Shift RN
• Schedule: 7pm – 7am (varies)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in inpatient oncology or medical-surgical nursing (Oncology RN preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• ACLS certification
• Chemo certification is not required
• No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients in an acute inpatient setting as an Oncology RN
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Perform assessments, document clinical care, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, symptom management, and discharge instructions
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
