• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180 - $2,290 (Competitive travel nurse pay)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience at a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
• Active RN license in the state of Connecticut (CT RN license) or ability to obtain
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC and ENPC or PALS certifications required
• Ability to work every other weekend (typical Emergency Department schedule)
• Compliance with onboarding health and professional requirements (including immunizations and competency testing)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department as an ER RN / Emergency Department RN
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with medical emergencies, trauma, and critical conditions
• Perform rapid clinical assessments, stabilize patients, and initiate emergency interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered, and supportive environment for patients and staff
• Participate in ongoing education, competency assessments, and trauma-related protocols
