• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hrs/wk
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Float Pool Facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, Northwest Sahuarita
• EMR: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Any color

Key Qualifications (Med/Surg Tele RN)

• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience or acute care nursing experience
• Active Arizona RN license (compact not accepted unless AZ licensure requirements met)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficient with Cerner EMR and telemetry monitoring systems
• Ability and willingness to float between departments and facilities as part of a float pool
• Strong critical thinking, EKG interpretation, IV therapy, and acute care assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process in accordance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Provide telemetry monitoring, cardiac assessment, EKG interpretation, medication administration, and IV therapy for diverse patient populations
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership for timely, evidence-based patient care
• Delegate and prioritize patient care based on staff education and experience; supervise assigned personnel
• Maintain and update clinical competencies through continuing education and unit-specific training
• Adapt to floating between units and facilities within the float pool while maintaining consistent, high-quality care
