Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710 - $2,920
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Shift: 8-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights 7p–7:30a; various day/evening shifts)
• Setting: Hospital CT Scan & X-ray units at Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert
• Type: Travel Contract / Travel CT Technologist
• Float Required: No

• Candidate Notice: No local candidates (must reside outside the local area). Must not have worked permanent at BILH within the past 6 months.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist / CT Tech experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Valid Massachusetts CT Technologist license required
• ARRT certification (CT) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required for imaging documentation and order management
• Proficiency operating CT scanners and related imaging equipment; familiarity with major vendors (GE, Siemens, Philips) a plus
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles (ALARA), contrast administration, and human anatomy
• Excellent patient communication, clinical judgment, and ability to manage patient throughput
• Adaptable to multiple facility protocols and able to collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff
• Open to travel candidates only; applicants must live outside the immediate local area

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients at Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert
• Prepare and operate CT equipment, ensure proper patient positioning, and perform contrast-enhanced and multiphase studies as ordered
• Follow radiation safety protocols and best practices to protect patients and staff
• Document imaging procedures, findings, and patient records accurately using EPIC EMR
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide compassionate care
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostic accuracy and workflow
• Conduct routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and maintain quality control documentation
