This night-shift travel CT technologist role supports a short-term acute care hospital and busy stroke center, performing advanced CT imaging procedures for a diverse patient population. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,430

- Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital, Stroke Center
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel CT contract)
- Start Date: May 4, 2026
- Shift: Night — 3 x 12-hour shifts (18:30 – 06:30), includes weekends
- Hours per Week: 36
- Charting / PACS: EPIC
- Travel Eligibility: Local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience in an acute care or emergency department setting
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- Valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (no pending licenses)
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- Experience with adult acute care, Emergency Department required; ICU and pediatric CT experience preferred
- Familiarity with GE and Siemens CT scanners preferred
- Strong skills in contrast administration, IV starts, and sterile technique for interventional CT procedures
- Reliable night-shift availability and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities / CT Imaging Duties
- Perform CT scans across age groups (adolescents, adults, geriatrics) and a wide range of exams
- Conduct diagnostic CT imaging: head/neck, brain perfusion, chest, abdomen/pelvis, spine/MSK, vascular CTA, and MRP
- Prepare and safely administer contrast media; monitor patients for reactions
- Assist with CT-guided procedures: aspirations, biopsies, drainages, and vascular access as needed
- Collaborate closely with ER, inpatient, and stroke teams to support time-sensitive imaging and stroke protocols
- Accurately document procedures and patient care in EPIC and PACS
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, radiation safety, and infection control
