Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 – $2,770
  • Location: Olympia, WA 98506 (Olympia, Washington; Puget Sound region)
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
  • Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 – 17:00)
  • On-Call: 1 call day per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
  • Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab (Cath Lab Technologist position) in a 325-bed acute care hospital

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a Cath Lab Tech, CT Technologist, or Rad Tech
  • Travel healthcare experience required (travel Cath Lab tech preferred)
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or CCI RCIS; valid WA RT or CIS License
  • Community hospital or acute care Cath Lab experience required
  • Locals within 50 miles not eligible for travel contract
  • Pending license not accepted
  • All requested time off must be included in application
  • Preferred: cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and EP/ICU monitoring experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rota), impella and IABP support, and CTO cases
  • Support structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Balloon Valvuloplasty, and Watchman
  • Participate in electrophysiology procedures (EPS, Afib/Flutter ablations, pacemaker/ICD implants)
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, perform EKG lead placement, cardiac mapping, and ablation support
  • Maintain sterile field, scrub for procedures, and assist the interventional cardiology team as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Perform accurate monitoring and clinical documentation using EPIC (electronic health record)
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotation for the cardiac catheterization lab
