Job Details – ICU RN Travel Nurse

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,160
• Location: Spokane, WA 99208 (Spokane healthcare jobs, Washington nursing jobs)
• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/4/2026 – End: 8/3/2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00) — night shift ICU RN, critical care travel nurse role
• Hours per Week: 36
• Charting: Epic (experience with Epic preferred)
• Parking: Free
• Float Requirement: May float between units and sister facilities
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required

ICU RN Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU RN experience (critical care RN experience required)
• Valid WA RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with Epic electronic health record preferred
• Patient ratio experience: 2:1 for ICU level care, 3:1 for PCU level care
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years
• Ability to float between units and nearby sister facilities as needed

Key Responsibilities – Critical Care RN

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU (medical ICU and progressive care coverage)
• Manage continuous IV sedation, interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, and perform ventilator management
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as DKA, pneumonia, sepsis, overdose, dialysis/CRRT, and other critical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, IV team, and rapid response
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic (electronic charting)
• Participate in orientation, required training modules, and unit onboarding prior to assignment start
• Float between units and provide coverage as needed, including every other weekend
