Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,170 – $1,260

• Shift: 5 × 8-hour day shifts (40 hours/week)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or equivalent clinical setting (hospital pharmacy experience preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential required (CPhT) — Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or nationally recognized certification preferred
• Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration required (must obtain by June 28, 2026)
• Sterile compounding / IV admixture experience preferred; familiarity with medication safety and pharmacy operations a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients and clinical care areas in the hospital pharmacy
• Identify, prepare, package, label, and deliver medications, including sterile products and IV admixtures, under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain accurate medication records, documentation, and compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations (medication safety and controlled substance protocols)
• Support inventory management, medication storage procedures, and automated dispensing systems as applicable
• Contribute to a safe, efficient pharmacy environment and work collaboratively with nursing and clinical teams to support patient care
